We are an enthusiastic, amateur orchestra that enjoys rehearsing and performing a wide variety of classical music from the symphonic repertoire.
We have string, wind, brass and percussion sections, numbering about sixty members in all.
We rehearse music for three concerts each year. In addition we hold sight-reading evenings and sectional rehearsals

The Bristol String Quartet is a well established string quartet, with years of experience playing at weddings and functions across the UK. We have a wide repertoire that ranges from classical favourites, to popular songs and themes from film and television. The Bristol String Quartet can add the finishing touch to any special occasion.
The City of Bristol Brass Band has just celebrated it's 70th birthday. If you're interested in joining the band, come along to one of our Friday rehearsals. We're available for concerts and receptions, and we have groups of various sizes to accommodate your needs.
